The official results are in; Samla announced the top ten finishers at the 2021 Samla race with Abdulaziz Al Tamimi maintaining his first-place position.
The Samla refereeing committee assessed the race to the fullest with time violations and individual penalties handed out to the contestants.
Abdulaziz Al Tamimi was handed out a 2-hour time penalty for assistance from outside which includes being handed out water or food throughout the race. Abdulaziz Al Shamali who initially finished 4th moved to 2nd after Khamiss al Khulaifi (fell out of top ten with numerous violations) and Ibrahim Al Harami lost hours from their time.
