Qatar national team players take part in a training session yesterday in Doha as they gear up for the upcoming Group E matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup joint qualifiers. Qatar, the reigning Asian champions, will take on India on June 3 at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium with kick off set for 8pm.
Al Annabi’s other group game against Oman is scheduled for June 7 at the same venue. In addition to these games, Qatar will also host all the remaining Group E matches after being picked by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) as a centralised venue amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
