Qatar's Ogunode Wins 100m Race in Arab Athletics Championships

Qatar's Femi Ogunode won the gold medal of the 100m race in 10.19 seconds in the Arab Athletics Championships in Tunisia.

Tosin Ogunode of Qatar came in the second place with 10.41 secods followed by Oman's Baraket Al Harithi with 10.43 seconds.

Meanwhile, Yasser Salem Baghrab bagged Qatar's fifth medal after clocking in a time of 8:34.17 to win the bronze medal in the 3,000 meters steeplechase.

Ashraf Al-Saifi secured the silver medal in the hammer throw competition at the Arab Athletics Championships

Secretary-General of the Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) and head of Qatar's delegation to the championship Mohamed Al Fadala praised the organizational level of the championship at this difficult time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, thanking the Arab and Tunisian federations for this honorable organization. 

Team Qatar have raised their medal tally to  five medals, including a  gold, three sliver and one bronze.
