Jordanian National Teams Delegation Arrives in Doha to Face South Sudan in FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 Qualifiers

The delegation of the Jordanian national football team has arrived in Doha, in preparation for facing the South Sudan national football team on Monday at Khalifa International Stadium in the qualifiers for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021. 

The Jordanian team is looking for a seat in the third group, which includes Morocco and Saudi Arabia, along with the winner of the match between Palestine and Comoros, after failing to qualify for the decisive round of the World Cup qualifiers. 

Upon arrival, the delegation was subjected to a swab test to detect the Covid-19 virus before moving to their residence to enter a health bubble that will continue until the date of departure on the 22nd of this month, according to the strict health instructions applied by the local organizing committee that prohibits teams from moving except for training and matches. 

The delegation is headed by a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Mansour Obeidallah, and the delegation includes, in addition to members of the technical and administrative staff, 30 players: Ahmed Abdel Sattar, Moataz Yassin, Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Mahmoud Al-Kawamla, Yazan Al-Arab, Anas Bani Yassin, Rawad Abu Khaizran, Saad Al-Rousan, Firas Shelbaya, Ihsan Haddad, Salem Al-Ajalin, Muhammad Al-Damiri, Muhannad Khairallah, Ahmed Thaer, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Bahaa Abdel-Rahman, Khalil Ben Attia, Ibrahim Saadeh, Musa Al-Taamari, Muhammad Abu Zuraiq "Sharara", Ali Alwan, Ahmed Arsan, Mahmoud Mardhi, Yassin Al-Bakhit, Uday Al-Saifi, Ahmed Samir, Youssef Al-Rawashdeh, Bahaa Faisal, Hamza Al-Dardour and Yazan Al-Nuaimat. 

Mansour Obeidallah, the head of the delegation, stressed the importance of crossing the Arab Cup qualifiers to be among the elite teams that will compete in the competition whose current edition enjoys the privilege of being held under the umbrella of the International Football Association "FIFA" and in partnership with the State of Qatar.After arriving in Doha, Obaidullah said: "We are approaching a new stage of the national team's journey, starting with the Arab Cup qualifiers, with the aim of qualifying for the finals and participating in the tournament, whose competitions will be held on facilities designated to host the 2022 World Cup. This makes it an exceptional edition, as are expectations of great success for the brothers in Qatar to organize a perfect World Cup."
