Qatari Skydive Team to Compete in Tanay Mondial 2020 in Russia

Qatari Skydive Team of the Qatar Air Sports Committee of the Joint Special Forces will participate in the World Parachuting Championships, scheduled to be held in Russia on Aug. 10-21, 2021, with the participation of 30 countries.

The Qatari team is represented in the tournament by four teams; 4-way parachuting team, Al Hadaf team, competition team, 8-way Team.

The Qatari parachute team is one of the best teams in the world and is the world's largest parachute-forming team at night.

The team has achieved impressive formations of air shows, and is expected to achieve outstanding results during its participation in the 2021 World Parachuting Championships.

This Championship comes before the CISM World Military Parachuting Championship (WMPC) which is scheduled to be held from Nov. 15 to 30 in Doha.

The Qatari team has completed its preparations for the world championship in Russia. Qatars 4-way parachuting team, comprising Hamad Al Marri, Rashid Al Kubaisi, Fahd Al Shammari and Abdulaziz Al Shammari has participated in two training camps in the Czech Republic and Germany.

Al Hadaf team, comprising Rashid Al Marri, Mohammed Al Braidi, Abdulaziz Ahmed, Khalid Mohammed Shaja, Mishaal Al Qaoud, Mohammed Al Attas, Mohammed Al Hajri, Saleh Al Abidi and Mohammed Al Kuwari, set up their training camp in Slovenia.

The competition team also organized an outdoor camp in Chicago, led by Mansour Al Korbi. The 4-way team (rotation) includes Ali Hamad, Abdullah Hani, Saeed Al Kuwari, Hassan Al Maliki and Saleh Al Kuwari, while the first sequential team includes Abdulaziz Zubaidi, Salman Al Sharshani and Ahmed Al Yafei, and the second sequential team includes Obaid Al Marri, Abdulaziz Al Korbi and Abdullah Al Nabit.

The 8-way team set up their camps in France and Spain. The team includes Abdullah Al Hammadi, Ghanem Al Kubaisi, Abdulaziz Al Mutawa, Bilal Al Hajjaj, Abdullah Al Khawar, Khalifa Al Ali, Saad Al Ali, Salem Al Sunaid and Mohammed Shams.
