Qatar's table tennis teams are seeking to achieve victory in the Arab Championship for teams and clubs set to kick off in the capital Amman on Tuesday.
The Qatari table tennis mission left Monday for Amman in preparation for the competitions which will run till August 23 amid COVID-19 precautionary measures.
The Qatari mission consists of the men's team which is seeking to win the title of the tournament, as well as the teams of various group ages and the women's team.
Director of National Teams at Qatar Table Tennis Association Thani Al Zarraa said that the participation in the Arab championship will be difficult, especially after the pause resulted by the coronavirus.
Al Zarraa noted that the men's team aspires to compete for title and reach the podium, adding that the age groups teams will also have good chances to make achievements in light of their good preparations in local and external camps in preparation for the tournament.
