Doha, Qatar - The President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of IAAF World Championship Doha 2019, H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani addressing the IAAF Council Meeting which started in Doha, yesterday.
IAAF President, Sebastian Coe and Vice-President and Director General of the LOC and Vice-President of the IAAF, Dahlan Al Hamad were also present among a host of top officials from around the world.
During the meeting, the IAAF Council approved the qualification system and entry standards for the 2020 Olympics as well as the timetables for three World Athletics Series events to be held next year.
