The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has agreed to the request of the Saudi Arabian Football Association to host the match between Saudi Al-Nassr SC and Iranian Tractor SC in the matches of the 16th round of the 2021 AFC Champions League, which will be held at Khalifa International Stadium on Sept. 14.
The host comes within the framework of the distinguished bilateral relations that bind Qatar Football Association with the brothers in the various federations, especially after the great success in hosting and organizing many major tournaments in the past period in light of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Qatar deserved the praise and appreciation it had received for its implementation of strict health protocol in the AFC Champions League, HH the Amirs Cup, and the Club World Cup in its last two editions, in addition to the Total African Super Cup 2020 which was held recently. Doha continues to embrace Asian and international football and is strongly present through the wonderful organization carried out by Qatar Football Association by hosting many major sports tournaments.
