Qatari Football Clubs Continue Preparations for This Season

Qatari clubs are currently continuing their preparations, whether in their external or internal camps, by playing many friendly matches in preparation for the return of sports activity through the 2022/2021 Qatar Football League (QNB Stars League/ in its new season, which will start on 11 September).

The teams are looking to achieve the maximum benefit through their preparatory camps, in order to determine the physical and technical readiness of their players by engaging in many friendly confrontations, in addition to testing the capabilities of their new professionals, especially in light of the conclusion of many deals, whether with professional or local players.

Al-Rayyan had played their first friendly in their external camp against Spanish club Andorra , and the match ended in a positive draw with three goals for each, In the second friendly match, Al-Rayyan lost against Perlada 2-0.

Al Rayyan also lost to Palamos FC, 2-1, and in the last friendly match, the Al Rayyan has lost to UE Figueres 4-1.

Al Rayyan is seeking to close the signings of their foreign professionals, and French coach Laurent Blanc is still waiting to complete some contracts, as the team did not renew the contract with Argentine defender Gabriel Mercado, who left the team.

There was an intention to sign a striker instead of the Ivorian Yohan Poli, whose contract is still valid with the team, in addition to signing a replacement player for Cameroonian Frank Kom... It is expected that these signings will be resolved in the coming weeks before the summer transfer window closes.
