QFA KICKS OFF MARKETING CAMPAIGN OF EUROPEAN QUALIFIERS

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has launched a nationwide marketing campaign ahead of Qatar’s European qualifiers in Hungary.

The marketing campaign has been launched on the ground and social media platforms of QFA. Qatar’s next European qualifiers will be played on September 1, 4 and 7.

Qatari flags around the stadium and posters of the match at the training venues have been set up, QFA said on Friday.

Match posters have also appeared at the Debrecen train station, and advertisements promoting the matches against Serbia and Portugal can also be seen at Budapest Airport.

Advertisements in shopping malls and on the streets of Debrecen are also visible. QFA has also been distributing flyers promoting the match to the residents of the city.

Broadcasting film materials about the matches have already been shared on social media platforms and announcing the list of players in a distinct way that reflects the extent of the marketing development carried out by QFA.

Pictures of Qatar’s national team players have also gone up around the city. Match information can also be obtained with one look at the posters.

The QFA’s social media handles on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram also have match details, stats and venue details, a QFA official said.

Tickets are only available to fans in Hungary

Fans will have to follow the precautionary and preventive measures linked to COVID-19 and providing the following:

EU Digital Covid Certificate

Hungarian Covid Certificate (plastic card)

Only vaccinated fans will be allowed to attend the matches

Audiences from outside Hungary is not allowed to attend as per the medical protocol of UEFA, which allows entry only for fans residing in the host country.

Children under the age of six are allowed entry to the venue without a ticket; children above six must have a ticket to enter.
