Al Khor and Al Ahli succeeded in catching up with the qualifiers for the second stage of HH the Amir Table Tennis Cup for the 2020-2021 sports season at Lusail Sports Hall.
Al Khor qualified after its 3-0 victory over Al Wakra at the end of the first phase matches to take second place in Group A with three points and Al Ahli qualified after beating Al Gharafa 3-2 to take second place in Group B with five points.
The qualified teams of the first and second groups were determined in the second stage which qualify for the final match of HH the Amir Cup, where the first group includes the champion of the league Qatar SC, Al Rayyan and Al Khor, while the second group will include Al Sadd, Al Arabi and Al Ahli.
The matches of the second stage will start on Friday until September 12. In the second stage, the first of each group qualifies for the final match, while the rest teams will play in the standing matches.
The champions of the two groups from the second stage will meet in the final match on September 14 at Abdullah bin Suhaim Hall in Qatar SC, while the match for the third and fourth places will be held on September 13 in the same hall. (QNA)ã Å 1/P RQNA 2253 GMT 2021/09/09
