The Referees Committee of the Asian Football Confederation assigned Qatari referees to officiate the match between South Korea and Syria in Matchday 3 of the third qualifying round for the World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held on October 17 in Seoul, Korea.
The crew consists of the main referee, Abdul Rahman Al Jassim, assisted by Saud Ahmed and Talib Salem, and Saud Al Abdo as the fourth referee.
Syria is in fourth place in Group A with a single point after drawing with the UAE, and losing to Iran. South Korea is in second place with four points.
It is expected that Syria will establish a short camp before heading to Korea, where it will face the Chinese team in a friendly.
