Organisers pose for a group photo after holding a press conference to launch the first Phoenix Games, which will be held from September 24 to 26 at Aspire Zone.
Around 200 athletes representing 35 countries will take part in the event, which is being organised by Erada Fitness and Diverse Sports.
The Phoenix Games will consist of six training events that will be divided into 2 days for the male competition, with a separate day dedicated specifically for the female competition.
Athletes will compete for cash prizes worth over QR100,000.
