Preparations are now underway for the 12th Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, set to take place at Doha’s Aspire Dome, the world’s largest indoor multi-purpose dome, from the 20th – 23rd of March 2019.

With a record of 230 gymnasts from 58 participating countries, this year the World Cup will serve as a qualification event for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Following the success of the 48th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held at the same venue in October of last year, the organising committee, led by Qatar Gymnastics Federation (QGF) President Ali Al-Hitmi, are confident of their abilities to host world-class events such as this one.

Speaking of the ongoing partnership between QGF and Aspire, Al-Hitmi stated, “Aspire have always provided us with unlimited supports. This relationship helped us stage a world-class championship in October and we hope to deliver an outstanding World Cup with Aspire at the Aspire Dome.”
