HE the President of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation, (QTSBF) Nasser Al Khelaifi assured that the attendance of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, at the opening of the World Padel Championship (Qatar 2021) confirms the unlimited support of His Highness, which had the greatest impact on achieving the impressive successes in the tournaments held in Qatar.
HE Al Khelaifi said, in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), that the World Padel Championship was launched with the participation of 16 teams, led by Qatar, which qualified deservedly after participating in Asian-African Qualifiers only one day before the start of the World Championship, pointing out that the competitions started with strong matches from the first day, especially as it witnessed a large official and public attendance, which confirms the extent of the success it will achieve in Qatar.
HE QTSBF President, expressed his appreciation to HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, for his support for the championship and his attendance of some of the competitions on the first day.
HE Al Khelaifi also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the International Padel Federation for its confidence in the organizational level enjoyed by the State of Qatar in hosting major sporting events.
