QNB Stars League team Al Arabi have confirmed the transfer of Iceland international Aron Gunnarsson at the end of the season.
The Iceland national team captain currently plays in the Premier League for Welsh team Cardiff City, where he has been since 2011.
Al Arabi annouced the news on twitter, posting a video of Gunnarsson's highlights for both club and country before ending with a clip of him, in his Icelandic national team shirt, proclaiming: "Al Arabi, I'm coming."
Having captained the Iceland squad in the 2016 Euros, who competed for the first time in the competition's history, the midfielder is now set to reunite with his former Iceland manager, Heimer Hallgrimsson at Al Arabi Sports Club in Doha.
