Asian champions Qatar kick-started their FIFA Arab Cup
campaign with a 1-0 victory over Bahrain in their Group A match on Tuesday evening
in the spectacular Al Bayt Stadium. The winning goal was scored in the 69th
minute bringing life to the stadium's spectators.

Abdulaziz Hatem with a perfectly placed cross who the latter imprinted into the
back of the net with a powerful header to bring his team one goal closer to
victory.
Qatar’s national team went through a test of strength and perseverance
as Bahrain put up an intense first half, but ultimately came out victorious,
awarding the hosts 3 points to put them at the top of Group A. Qatar will meet
Oman in their upcoming match on December 3rd at the Education City
Stadium.
