Another night full of goals in the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 in
Doha tonight, two Group C games took place at the same time and had very
different outcomes.
At the Al Thumama Stadium Morocco took on Gulf giants Saudi
Arabia and overcame the latter 1-0, securing the win with an early penalty goal
just before the halftime whistle scored by Baha’a Abdulrahman. The game was
over before it started for Saudi Arabia, who couldn’t seem to muster up the
attacking acumen to equalize before the full-time whistle.
Simultaneously at the Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, a majority of tonight’s
goals were scored in a spectacular show of skill from Jordan. Jordan faced off
against its neighbor Palestine and showed no mercy and held nothing back,
scoring goal after goal to domineer an extravagant win. The game ended 5-1 in
Jordan's favor, with Jordan's number 10 Yazan Al Naimat rounding off the night’s
goals with a brilliant brace.
