Aspire Zone Foundation has announced at a press conference its long-term partnership with Wega – a leading global payment solution developed by Truxtun Capital. This partnership aims to host the first multi-game eSports World Cup tournament ever. 


The conference was attended by VIPs from Aspire Zone, led by Mr. Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, CEO of Aspire Zone Foundation, Mr. Abdullah Nasser Al Naemi, Director General of Aspire Logistics, and Mr. Mohammed Mubarak Al Kuwari, Chief Marketing Officer, Aspire Zone Foundation, Mr. Nasser Abdullah Al Hajri, Director of PR and  Communication at AZF. And from Truxtun Capital, Mr. MOKHLISS Barriol, Head of Global Business Development.


The alliance between the two leading institutions in sport and technology is the first step in the run-up to the first round in November. 
With the expected participation of nearly 2.3 billion online gaming enthusiasts
over the next four years, Doha will hold an annual qualifier over a month
during November of each year starting in 2019, with the final championship in 2022. Competing electronic sports include football (FIFA), Basketball,
motor racing ,etc. The organizers have allocated the total of four-year
tournament prizes estimated at 10 million dollars.
