Longines and the IFHA (International Federation of Horse racing Authorities), the co-organisers of the Longines World Racing Awards, yesterday announced the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe as the best race in the world once again based on the official rankings.
Since the inception of this ceremony in 2015, the Arc has been named the best race in the world five times, notably in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and in 2021.
Thanks to the partnership between the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) and France Galop, the international stature of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe has grown stronger with each renewal (every year the event is broadcast live in 60 countries) and the historic race has reinforced its leadership.
