Al Sadd and Qatar national team star Akram Afif has been named as the QNB Stars League’s Best Player for the months of December, 2021 and January 2022.
Akram scored as many as nine goals and gave four assists from five matches in Rounds 10, 11, 12, 15 and 16 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. He spent a total of 469 minutes on the pitch.
The ace forward played a key role for his team as reigning champions Al Sadd stayed on top of the QNB Stars League table with 40 points after 14 rounds of action, six points more than closest challenge Al Duhail.
