Al Duhail won the Men's Handball Federation Cup for the fourth time in its history despite losing to Qatar SC 24/25 today at Al Duhail Sports Hall in the final round of the tournament.
The loss, which was the first after eight consecutive victories, did not affect Al Duhail, who had won the title in the last round.
Al Duhail finished the championship with 25 points in first place, while Qatar SC raised its score to 19 points, in sixth place.
Al Gharafa defeated Al Rayyan 25/24, in another match held today, to raise its score to 17 points in seventh place, Al Rayyan in fifth place with 19 points. Qatar Handball Federation Secretary-General Mohammed Jaber and Assistant Secretary Khalifa Al Jassim crowned the winning teams for the first three places.
