Al Shahania will face Qatar SC in the second-round match (Group A) of the 2024-2025 season QSL Cup at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Duhail Club on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The kick-off is at 6.30 pm.
The other teams in Group A are Al Rayyan, Al Arabi, Al Duhail, and Al Ahli.
Al Shahania and Qatar SC will go into the match with great enthusiasm looking to overcome their first-round loss. While Al Shahania went down to Al Rayyan 0-1, Qatar SC lost to Al Duhail 1-2.
Both teams will be looking to achieve a victory in this round to correct their mistakes and compete to qualify for the quarterfinals.
The top four teams from each group will advance into the last eight.
Al Shahania coach Alvaro Mejia would work with his staff to help the players and improve the team’s position. Particularly, ironing out the flaws which crept up during the match against Al Rayyan and scoring a victory over Qatar SC.
Qatar SC coach Yousef Al Noubi would also look for his team to bounce back and register their first win in the tournament.
