Neymar has returned to training with Al-Hilal and will be part of the squad for their Asian Champions League match against Al-Ain, according to the Saudi Pro League club.

The 32-year-old Brazilian forward has been sidelined since suffering a serious knee injury during a World Cup qualifier against Uruguay in October last year. Neymar sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and underwent surgery in November.

After moving from Paris St Germain to Al-Hilal in August 2023 for a reported fee of around 90 million euros ($97.8 million), Neymar played only five matches before being sidelined due to various muscle injuries. He also missed Brazil’s 2024 Copa America campaign, during which they were knocked out in the quarter-finals.

Al-Hilal shared the news on social media, confirming Neymar’s return to the squad for their match against UAE club Al-Ain, which will be held at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Monday.
